The concept allows you to make your pitch as to why you should join the team of a entrepreneurs who have achieved success in their industries.

Who Can Compete

To be eligible to compete in the Next $100 Million Company competition, firms must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a certified Minority, Women, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Locally Based Enterprise
  • Offer services in any of the following categories
    • Construction

  • Have at least one principal or designated representative available to present to the panel of judges on July 21, 2015

      William Paolillo

    William Paolillo is the President and Owner of The Alternative Board, Suffolk County, New York. Over the years, he has been involved in all aspects of running a business, from the tough early days of a startup right through to the sale of a successful business; helping companies go from losses to profit and dramatically grow sales and market share along the way. The vision at TAB Suffolk is to help local business owners develop loving, connected relationships with their customers, employees, suppliers, family and community. Paolillo believes if we can share something with someone that will make a positive impact on their business or personal life, then they will pass it on.

    A native of Long Island, Paolillo has held a wide variety of interesting jobs, ranging from taxi driver to farm worker, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales at Homax Group. With more than 25 years’ experience as a senior executive at businesses such as Black & Decker, Procter & Gamble, ICI Paints, McGraw-Hill Construction in sales, marketing and general management, he brings extensive leadership and strategy expertise to the members of TAB Suffolk.

    Paolillo holds a B.A. in Economics from Binghamton University, an M.B.A in Management from University of Southern California and received a Doctor of Management from Case Western Reserve University. He is a certified facilitator and executive coach.

      Suri Kasirer
    President, Kasirer Consulting

    Suri Kasirer is the Founder and President of the New York based consulting firm which bears her name. Kasirer Consulting, LLC specializes in government relations, public affairs and strategic consulting for a diversified clientele, including Fortune 500 corporations, real estate developers and non-profit organizations. For more than a decade Kasirer has led her firm, which has ranked number one among the top lobbying firms in New York City for the past eight years and is ranked among the top five lobbying firms in New York State.

    Kasirer has been named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York by Crain’s New York Business for several years and was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Campaign & Elections magazine. Kasirer has been honored by the National Organization of Women (NY Chapter) and by various other charitable organizations.

    A native New Yorker and graduate of Yeshiva University, she is active in political, cultural and social activities here in New York and across the country. Kasirer serves as the Vice Chair of the New York Building Foundation and is on the Board of Directors of the New York League of Conservation Voters; Citymeals-on-Wheels; and Women’s Leadership Forum. She is a member of the Steering committee for the Association for a Better New York (ABNY) and is a member of the New York City Partnership, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, WX Women Executives in Real Estate, Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Women’s Leadership Council and the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association.

      Richard Levychin
    Partner, KBL, LLP

    Richard Levychin, CPA, CGMA is a Partner with KBL, LLP where he is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Emerging Business Group. KBL is a CPA and Advisory firm with offices located in New York. In 2014 KBL was the winner of the SmartCEO Magazine Accounting Firm of the Year. Richard is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He has over 25 years of accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and tax experience working with both privately owned and publicly held entities. In 2013 Richard received the title of "Best Accountant" from The New York Enterprise Report.

    In 2015 Richard was presented by his alma mater Baruch College with the Baruch College Alumni Association's "Alumni Leadership Award for Business". Richard is a past winner of The Network Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” award. Richard is also a recipient of several awards from the National Association of Black Accountants.

    As a business advisor he advises companies, helping them to identify and define their business and financial objectives, and then provides them with the on-going personal attention necessary to help them achieve their established goals. Levychin has written articles on a wide range of topics, which have been featured in several periodicals including Dollars and Sense, New York Enterprise Report, Black Enterprise Magazine, Forbes, and The Network Journal. He has also conducted seminars on a wide range of business topics including SEC matters and taxation for several organizations including the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference and the Learning Annex.

    Levychin is a member of several organizations including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Black Accountants, the Association of Latin Professionals in Finance and Accounting, the United States Hispanic Advocacy Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a 400,000 member global accounting membership organization. Levychin is currently a member of the AICPA Council which is the AICPA’s governing body that takes actions which affect the AICPA and the accounting profession as a whole. He was previously a member of the AICPA National Commission for Diversity and Inclusion.

      Carl Oliveri
    CPA, CCIFP, CFE, MBA, Partner, Grassi & Co.

    Carl Oliveri is a Partner and the Construction Practice Leader at Grassi & Co., possessing over 18 years of experience working with clients in the Construction Industry, particularly with regards to financial statement and income tax preparation, cash flow and operations forecasting as well as litigation and cost claim support with related negotiations. His extensive industry experience allows him to provide insight and advice to construction clients on marketplace trends and best practices.

    A thought leader in the industry, Carl has presented across the Metropolitan area including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Construction Conference as well as for the construction trade organizations.

    Carl was recently named to the Executive Committee and as the Thought Leader Committee chair of the Construction Industry CPAs-Consultants Association. He also serves on the board, as Treasurer, for the NY City Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, and was the chairperson for the NY State Society Construction Contractors Committee for two terms. Other professional associations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the worldwide and New York City Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

    Carl earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania.

      Pamela S. Robertson
    Partner, Squire Patton Boggs

    Pamela S. Robertson is a Partner at Squire Patton Boggs. She is a transactional attorney who counsels corporate and governmental clients on complex matters. Robertson has extensive experience representing public pension funds and other institutional investors with respect to investment in private equity, venture capital, hedge and other alternative investments.

    Robertson also advises both investors and portfolio companies on acquisitions, dispositions and mergers and has years of experience representing foreign and domestic corporations as well as governments across a broad spectrum of industries and legal issues. Robertson has a vested interest in the business of her clients and is committed to partner with them to identify legal issues and provide timely and pragmatic responses as legal and business issues arise.

      Mitchell S. Rock
    Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC

    Mitchell S. Rock is Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor of The Manhattan Group at Morgan Stanley. With 25 years of Wall Street experience, Rock oversees The Manhattan Group. As one of a select number of advisors nominated to the firms Business Owner Executive Council, his practice is focused on helping small and middle-market business owners connect their financial life with an overall strategy which could potentially help them monetize some or all of their business whether through a sale, succession or merger.

    His primary responsibility includes speaking with business owners and helping identify strategic options and ultimately creating an advisory team to help with the execution. Should a significant liquidity event occur, The Manhattan Group will assist in the development of sophisticated estate planning strategies to help reduce estate taxes and increase the transfer of wealth to future generations or charities.

    When addressing Wealth Management, The Manhattan Group develops an effective asset allocation strategy based upon a client’s tolerance for risk and overall long term objectives. Rock directs the groups' equity and fixed income strategies that are utilized in portfolio construction.

    Rock received his BA in Accounting from The George Washington University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he held similar positions in the private client groups of UBS and Oppenheimer & Co. Rock started his career as the Director of Research at a hedge fund, where he designed sophisticated multi-asset portfolios for institutional investors utilizing non-traditional asset classes.
